Hang on to Hope with UrbanWell Pantry Express

In All Articles, COMMUNITY, Nonprofit by Charles Frame

This past weekend, the urban folks of Ellis County worked together to provide 245 families with fresh proteins and produce. It was a fun day for volunteers of all ages. Our favorites included a pair of wise men, a couple of cheerful girls and two helpful youngsters. From the sign-in table to the bountiful spread upon kitchen tables across Ellis County – we are honored to help folks hang on to hope.

We are so grateful for the generous partnership of What’s Happening Now Ministries, Connect4Life Church, FBC Maypearl and Thrivent Financial. We are also humbled by the consistent volunteer turnout including 26 volunteers at our Maypearl location, and another 30 volunteers at our Waxahachie location.

If you are in need of help, come on down to the next URBANwell Pantry Express. Application are always available onsite and volunteers are always appreciated. To learn more about this ministry project, visit Q Ministry Project.
