FirstLook is Ellis County’s Christian nonprofit pregnancy help medical clinic dedicated to saving lives and protecting futures. Our services focus on positive, life-affirming options for women and families facing tough decisions about their unplanned pregnancy. We offer our clients intentional programs and quality service. Each aspect of our program is tapered to each individual client and where she is in her journey. Our goal at FirstLook is to educate them on their options, equip them with the facts, and empower them to make healthy decisions. All of the services are completely confidential and free of charge. There are no eligibility criteria.

These services include:

  • Pregnancy testing
  • Diagnostic ultrasound up to 28 weeks
  • Accurate information on all of her options
  • STI/STD testing and treatment including partner expedited treatment
  • Medical and community referrals
  • PreParE (prenatal and parenting education courses and material assistance)
  • Client-directed Care Path
  • Adoption referrals
  • Post-abortion care

FirstLook Boutiques, located in Waxahachie and Ennis, are unique nonprofit thrift shops. A generous community donates goods which are sold in the thrift stores and 100% of the income made supports FirstLook Clinic’s mission and vision.
